Richland Township apartment building deemed total loss following afternoon fire

A Cambria County apartment building was deemed a total loss after a fire broke out in the basement Saturday afternoon, emergency officials said. Richland Fire Chief Wes Meyers said the call came in around 12:30 p.m. for reports of a fire on the 1300 block of Frances Street.

Hooversville man accused of sexually assaulting teen while she slept

SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) State police in Somerset County say a Hooversville man is behind bars following an investigation into allegations that he sexually assaulted a teenage girl.
