CENTRE COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) State police say a resident of the Netherlands is jailed in Centre County, accused of repeatedly harassing a woman and then flying to the United States and showing up at her work.

New restaurant coming to Johnstown area

JOHNSTOWN, Pa (WJAC) A local Johnstown investment group is preparing to open a new restaurant in the area next week, according to a press release. Dominic Chippie, owner of Rizzo's Restaurant in Windber, and Corey Crocco, owner of Flair of Country in Johnstown, have partnered to open "The Fifth Local Eatery and Alehouse."

Pirates manager Shelton receives contract extension

PITTSBURGH (AP) Manager Derek Sheltons contract was extended by the Pittsburgh Pirates after the teams 14-7 start its best since 1992. Sheltons contract was set to expire after this season. The Pirates announced the new deal Saturday but did not specify a length.

Remembering John Burley, local businessman killed in a plane crash in Forest County

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, John Burley was flying his 2 seater aircraft from Erie over forest county, on Friday, when it crashed into the Allegheny National Forest at around 88 knots, or 100 miles per hour.
