One person killed in Clearfield Co. fire, family confirms; details still limited

GULICH TWP., Pa. (WJAC) One person was killed in Saturday night's fire in Gulich Township, according to the family of the victim. State police are still investigating the fire and have not released further details.

Frankstown Elementary collects donations for students after fire destroys home

New Christmas program to help 30 families in Elk County

JOHNSONBURG - Volunteers in Elk County are working to make Christmas bright for those struggling in their community. Volunteer Marissa Amspacher said the program started with a generous donation from a secret Santa to buy gifts for local children.

Norfolk Southern lays off another round of employees from Juniata shop

ALTOONA, Pa. (WJAC) Norfolk Southern has laid off more employees from its Juniata shop in Altoona. According to the Altoona Blair County Development Corporation, 95 skilled-workers were laid off. Blair County CareerLink officials say at least 20 of those employees were electrical workers.
