JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) The Greater Johnstown Water Authority officially approved buying the citys sewer system Thursday evening. June 23, the Johnstown City Council unanimously agreed to sell the sewer system for $24 million, plus the assumption of $63 million in debt, to the GJWA.
