BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) A man was sentenced Monday morning to life without parole in a murder case. Jaime Osuna previously pleaded guilty to six charges to avoid the death penalty. He admitted to killing 37-year-old Yvette Pena in November 2011.

Bedford County, PA (WJAC) 911 officials in Bedford County say two people and their pets were displaced Monday morning following a fire in Bedford Township. Authorities say eight area fire departments were dispatched for a reported house fire along the 1600 block of Chalybeate Road, just after 9 a.m.
