A brand-new business in Cambria County is offering the thrill of an escape room for those in the area.
Locked In Westmont just opened on Lyter Drive in suburban Johnstown.
Customers, typically groups of friends or coworkers, are locked in a room where they're given clues on how to escape.
Individuals have 60 minutes to work together to get out of the room or walk out in defeat.
The owners, a group of friends since their high school days, explained why they wanted to do this.
Bill Stasko, Locked In Westmont cofounder, said, “I just wanted to bring something new to the community and really promote the local businesses up here; bring more economy, more economics, to our area.”
Locked-In Westmont holds their grand opening tonight.
They said their usual hours will be from 4 to 10 in the evening Wednesday through Sunday; individuals need to make an online reservation first.
