Bedford County, PA (WJAC) — 911 officials in Bedford County say two people and their pets were displaced Monday morning following a fire in Bedford Township.
Authorities say eight area fire departments were dispatched for a reported house fire along the 1600 block of Chalybeate Road, just after 9 a.m.
Officials say the fire heavily damaged the home and the Red Cross was called in to assist the residents.
No injuries were reported and the cause remains under investigation.
